IMMEDIATE ACTION NEEDED ON SUNDAY SALES! |

| Immediate action needed!! If you want to see the passage of local option Sunday sales, this is a critical week to make that happen! Even if you have written to your legislators last year, we need you again!! The Senate Regulated Industries Committee is scheduled to vote on the local option Sunday Sales bill, Senate Bill 16, on Wednesday February 25th at 4:00 pm. The debate over local option Sunday sales is heating up at the Capitol and it’s time to remind your legislators that it is an issue that is important to you! As you know, Georgia is currently one of only three states that do not allow some form of alcohol sales on Sunday. Here’s where you can help change that… Please take a few minutes of your time and call or email the following legislators and let them know that you support letting local communities decide if Sunday alcohol sales is right for them! 1. Call Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle 404-656-5030 casey.cagle@ltgov.ga.gov 2. Call David Shafer, Regulated Industries Chairman 404-656-0048 david.shafer@senate.ga.gov 3. Call Senator Eric Johnson – Committee member – 404-656-5109 eric.johnson@senate.ga.gov (Sen. Johnson is a co-sponsor of the legislation; Call and thank him for his support!)
